Mission: Kurtz Psychology hosts a limited number of undergraduates for unpaid summer internships. This internship is designed primarily for advanced undergraduates as a pre-professional mental health training experience in research and clinical behavioral interventions. Interns participate in our didactic trainings and seminars. Interns are assigned a mentor and will assist with a research project to be worked on during the summer. Interns also are actively involved as counselors in our flagship selective mutism program – Mighty Mouth Kids Camp, as well as being heavily involved in the day-to-day work of our practice. Interns will routinely be able to observe live treatment sessions of Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
